Time series chart of measurements for Dashboards

At the moment it is not possible to insert a time series line chart displaying results of a measurement into a Dashboard.

This would be very helpful for observing trends or shifts in measurement data.

  Just to make sure we understand your request: Do you mean a chart which has time as its axis, like the one in Test step yield and analysis?

  Thanks a lot for your quick reply!

  This is correct. I would like to display measurement results on the dashboard just like in the test step yield and analysis. Ideally with some grouping options so you can either display single results or average values over time grouped by day, batch number etc pp.

  Other visualizations like yield report bar charts etc have this "add to dashboard" button which is absent in the test step yield and analysis.

  Yes, we are nearing the end of converting to a new framework within WATS, and each feature we convert typically gain a set new features, where one of them is the "Add to dashboard"-functionality. Test step yield and analysis (TSA) is one of the few yet not converted and therefore doesn't have dashboard widgets (apart from the somewhat limited measurement widget, which provides temporary support for measurements in the dashboard until the new TSA is completed).
  
  We are working on this as we speak, and expect to release a preview version of TSA later this year (most likely some time during November). I can't say 100% whether dashboard widgets will be done in time for this preview however. If not they will most likely be targeted for release early 2024.

  Sounds good! I can imagine that implementing this particular visualization might be a bit of challenge from a performance perspective...

  With the latest WATs release, the Test Step Analysis update is currently in Preview, but I do not see an "Add to Dashboard" button yet.   Is this still coming?

  Yes, TSA is considered preview because it is not yet feature complete. And dashboard widgets is one of the areas we'll be looking into when planning the next phase of the development on the other side of easter.
