Alarm/Notification for large file size????

I'm looking for a way to set an alarm if a file size is exceedingly large.  If a change in a test sequence or a "new guy" (or girl) updates the code and doesn't realize its effect on WATS file size, I'd like an immediate notification sent to group X.  This way we can immediately stop sending vast amounts of data to the cloud.  

Does anyone have a solution, or thoughts?
