List asset name and asset part number in uut report

Hi, 

Listing the assets in the uut report is an awesome functionality. Thanks for that!

Is it possible to list the asset name and asset partnumber also under "asset info" in uut report and not only the serialnumber? 

I would know what type of asset was used at one glance and I wouldn't have to look it up in asset manager.

  Thanks for the feedback.

  The "challenge" is that Asset name, type, status etc. are dynamic values that may change. What you get in the UUT report is the NOW status of the asset (count, calibration, etc.) as example; if you open a 1 year old UUT report, the Asset may be named different. This is why we made the decision to use the Asset SN only and then add a link from the UUT to the Asset page. Make sense?

  thanks for the quick answer.

  yes makes sense to me..

  but how about asset type? if i create types for eg. DMM, IO, AnalogIn, fixture etc.. And you would show the type in the UUT report, that would be ok for me. 

  I'd say the type has the same dynamic as serialnumber and would'nt change. The link only on serial number should stay.
