Is it possible to filter a search by sub-unit serial numbers?
I want to perform test step analysis on all units where a specific sub-unit's serial number matches a specific pattern.

  Hi.

  It is not possible to search for sub-unit serial numbers directly in Test step analysis (tsa).

  A work around is to use Serial number history's flat grid.

  - Search for your sub-unit serial number pattern.

  - Copy the top level serial numbers and paste them into the tsa filter.

  That is not feasible given our scale, unless there is a bulk-copy option in the serial number history view.
  
  I assume it is possible for us to perform this kind of search ourselves using the API?
  
  Is this kind of search a feature that will be introduced later?

  Hello Zawadi,

  You can bulk-copy serial numbers in the grid by making a selection and pasting it into the filter using CTRL+C, CTRL+V.

  Make a selection of multiple lines, either by 1. clicking and dragging across the lines, or 2. click your first line, hold SHIFT, then your last line.

  Hopefully this method is sufficient given your scale.
