How to increment asset counters using the UUT report (offline support)

This article describe how to add Asset usage count in the UUT report to automatically increase the asset counters at the server.

Using TestStand

After installing the WATS add-on, the UUT container contains a new property named "Asset_Info". To link an asset to the UUT report, simply add the asset serial number and the usage count. The usage count should be equal to number of usages for that test run. As example, if you have switched a connector 4 times during test execution, add 4 as usage count. This will increase the counter by 4 on the asset at the server side.

Using LabVIEW

After installing the LabVIEW add-on, the toolkit contains a new sub VI function "WATS_TDM_AssetInfo.vi"

Other formats

Most WATS formats also support "Asset info" in header"
