Manual inspection is a WATS feature that allow operators to add test (and repair) reports using a web based user interface. Manual inspection is designed to provide an efficient environment where automatic test equipment is not available or efficient.
Test sequences are defined and designed within WATS, and can be related to a unit’s serial number, part number or/and revision. When a test sequence is submitted, WATS will automatically generate a UUT/UUR report for the unit (this can be toggled on/off).
Test sequences also comes with a set of settings which will affect how manual inspection interprets failed steps, subunits and more.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE
If a UUR report is generated when a manual inspection execution is submitted, the execution time for the repair report will be the combined execution time for the failed step in the sequence. If detailed execution time is important, consider executing repairs in the operator interface "Repair" view.
