As a Manager or Admin, you can add new users. Enter the Control Panel > Users & Account > Users to bring up a list of all users.
Click the New User (+) button and enter the new users credentials directly in the grid. Click done when ready. E-mail confirmation with log in instructions will be sent to the new user.
NOTE: For Microsoft Entra ID integration, a User must be created in WATS where Username is the same as the Microsoft Entra ID username (e.g. email address). See also this article to enable Microsoft Entra ID.
Username
Most commonly, the users e-mail is used as username. Using an Microsoft Entra ID account e-mail will enable you to log in using out Microsoft Entra ID integration. The username must be unique.
Roles
The roles drop-down lets you assign one ore more roles to the user. WATS comes with the predefines user roles: Manager, Analyzer, Viewer, Operator and Shared Operator. See the article Edit Roles & Permission for information on how to customize roles or add new ones.
Web Client
This option lets you assign the user to the correct level by assigning it to a Web Client. For Operator roles where you have configured a Virtual Level, it is recommended to generate Web Clients for each applicable level and assign the user to the corresponding client. This ensures that Repair and Manual Inspection reports are assigned to the correct origin. See separate article on using Virtual Levels for more information.Web Clients can be created in the System Manager.
Restrict to level
By checking one or more of the levels in the restrict to level drop down, you will limit the user to data related to the selected levels.
Restrict to product group
By checking one or more of the levels in the restrict to level drop down, you will limit the user to data from the selected product groups.
