The reporting page WIP tracking contains filter search, a grid, and two charts. WIP tracking, which stands for work-in-progress tracking, provides a report on unit processes and phases to help you track units and their distribution between processes and phases.
Filter
The article Using the report filter describes report filter in details. Use the filter options to narrow your search, and click Apply filter to run the report.
WIP grid
The grid provides information about the units, the different processes and phases it has gone through, was last located in and includes a the statuses for the processes. From the grid toolbar you can export the data and pick between options to show what columns you want to see and how. You can also use the action menu directly to find any unit on another page.
The grid has the following columns:
Serial number | Unit serial number |
Part number | Unit part number |
Product name | Product name |
Current process | Current unit process |
Current phase | Current unit phase |
UTC first seen | First seen date for a unit in UTC |
“Process name” | The status of a unit in a process (This is dynamic data that will display the name of the process in the column and its status) |
Charts
The Process Distribution Chart shows what process the units are distributed in and The Phase Distribution Chart shows what phase the units are distributed in. By hovering the charts’ bars, you can view the processes’ or phases’ data to see details such as the count. By clicking you can use the action menu to bring the processes’ or phases’ data onto another page. Additionally, you can add these to your dashboard, and choose between different chart options.
