Component Repair features a reporting filter, grid and multiple charts to provide an overview of components that are experiencing failures in specific test and repair operations.
Grid
The grid displays repair data categorized by component information, with data aggregation based on the visibility, arrangement, and sorting of its columns.
Each grid row is expandable, enabling you to view detailed repair data for a more in-depth analysis.
Chart
The Component Repair Chart, located directly below the grid, mirrors the grid's data aggregation. It features column series for repair count and repair report count, along with a line series that shows cumulative percentage values for one of these metrics. To change the visibility and sorting of the data, simply access the chart options at the top right corner of the chart. The cumulative value is based on the metric by which the chart is sorted.
The chart also allows you to view detailed repair data by clicking on any item. From the inner level, you can click on items to navigate to other reports. To return to the top level, simply click the breadcrumbs below the chart.
Additional charts
The Failure by Repair Operation, Failure by Test Operation, and Failure by Repair Category and Code charts are all stacked bar charts. They provide the option to drill down into a selected test operation, repair operation, or repair category/code pair. Drilling down will display all components included within the selected operation or category and code.
In the screenshots below, the stacked Repair Category and Code chart (picture 1) shows all the different components for various repair categories and codes. When clicked, the chart transforms to display the components within the selected repair category and code (picture 2). These components can be further drilled down to access other reports.
